They posted a challenging 169 for 4 thanks to Roy and then de Bruyn, who put on an unbroken stand of 92 with Zafar Ansari in 51 balls. Former Glamorgan batsman Tom Maynard struck Harris for six over long-off, but in the next over the bowler had his revenge when he was caught at backward square.Roy struck Croft, who only bowled two overs, for a straight six to bring up his half-century from 31 balls before he was caught at mid-wicket off Jones. But the turning point in Surrey’s innings was Gareth Rees dropping De Bruyn at long-on off Simon Jones on 27. He made the most of his let-off, sweeping Dean Cosker for a six and a four from consecutive balls as 49 came from the final four overs and he finished on 70 not out from 52 balls.Glamorgan’s reply was not helped by the fact they lost their overseas openers – Petersen and Mark Cosgrove – in the opening eight overs. Petersen was caught at extra cover and Cosgrove was stumped off Ansari. Glamorgan also lost Rees for just 2, caught and bowled by Gareth Batty as they were left a challenging 112 from the final 10 overs.Wagg tried his best to get his side back in it, but they were always going to finish second best after being required to score 50 from the final three overs.

وأتم: “الحكم المصري من أنزه وأشرف الحكام ولا يجد دعمًا من اتحاد الكرة ولكنه الحلقة الأضعف في المنظومة”.

Eoin Morgan has brushed aside questions about his commitment to England and insisted that Test cricket is his first priority. Morgan chose IPL riches with Kolkata Knight Riders over first-class cricket with Middlesex this season but was named ahead of Ravi Bopara, who had opted for Championship cricket instead, in England’s Test squad to face Sri Lanka.On the eve of the squad announcement, Morgan said he would return to the IPL if he wasn’t selected but thanks to his 193 for England Lions against Sri Lanka at Derby, he pipped Bopara to the No. 6 position.Despite Morgan’s inclusion in the squad, national selector Geoff Miller said he “will be having a chat to him about what his priorities are and make him aware of where we’re coming from.” Morgan, however, felt there was no issue.”My priorities are quite clear,” Morgan told reporters. “Test match cricket comes first and always has done. It’s why I play the game, it’s where everybody tests themselves and what everybody is judged on.”In explaining why he would have returned to Kolkata if not selected in the Test squad, Morgan said he had to fulfil his contract and also that the experience gained at the IPL would help his development more than playing Championship cricket would.”If I wasn’t picked for the squad I didn’t want to hang around, dawdle and feel sorry for myself,” he said. “Number one, I wanted to do something and number two, I was contractually obliged to go back out. I had no choice.”The amount I learned last year just by playing five games and staying out there for the next three weeks, practising every day and rubbing shoulders with legends of the game, did massive amounts for me. I felt the progress I made in the month or two out there would exceed the four games I might play in county cricket.”Morgan only made 137 in nine knocks for Kolkata this season and conceded his decision to head to the IPL could have backfired. “It was a gamble, I knew that from the start. You have to gamble in order to throw yourself out there and do well. For me it was a hard decision but it was the right one.”

Canterbury allrounder Rob Nicol has been named New Zealand domestic cricket’s overall most valuable player (MVP) of the season, while Otago fast bowler Neil Wagner has claimed the title for the four-day competition.Nicol topped the season’s one-day run-scorers’ list with 648 runs at 72.00, as well as the Twenty20 table with 285 runs at 31.66. He was handy with the ball too, picking up 15 wickets with his offspin in the one-day tournament to finish third on the aggregate wickets table.Earlier in the season, Nicol had picked up the MVP award for the one-day tournament, and finished in fourth spot in the twenty20 standings. He did not fair as well in the Plunket Shield, aggregating 449 at 32.07, but he was able to hold off a late challenge for the overall MVP title from Wagner.Wagner picked up 51 wickets at an average of 18.15 in the four-day competition. The highlight of his season came when he snagged a record five wickets in one over in the final round of the competition against Wellington.Canterbury had won the Plunket Shield this season, while Otago were runners-up.

وكتب رومانو من خلال حسابه الرسمي على “تويتر”: “الخليج يُفكر في ضم سواريز صاحب الـ35 عامًا لمدة موسم ونصف مقابل 6 ملايين دولار أمريكي”.

وأكمل: “لويس سواريز لا يخطط للانتقال للخليج حيث يفضل اللعب في الدوري البرازيلي ولديه اتفاق شفهي مغ جريميو”.

اللاعب البالغ من العمر 35 عاما، لعب 10 مباريات مع ناسيونال الأوروجوياني وسجل 4 أهداف وصنع 3 آخرين.

وجاء منتخب مصر في مجموعة قوية ونارية، مع السنغال ونيجيريا وموزمبيق.

وقام شوقي غريب المدير الفني للمقاولون العرب والمدير الفني لمنتخب مصر، ومحمد شوقي لاعب الأهلي والمدرب المساعد السابق لمنتخب مصر بسحب قرعة بطولة أمم إفريقيا.

وتحدث شوقي غريب، قائلاً: “أتمنى فوز مصر للبطولة وتأهلها لكأس العالم، فمرحلة تحت 20 عاما هي مرحلة سنية هامة جدًا للعالم كله”.

وأضاف: “لا بد أن نركز ويكون لدينا لاعبين محترفين، أنا لعبت أول مباراة لي في الدوري وكان عمري 15 عاما، يجب أن نفتح باب الاحتراف مثل المنتخبات الإفريقية”.

بينما قال محمد شوقي: “لدينا كواليتي لاعبين ومدربين جيدين، ولكن أهم شيء عقلية اللاعب، مستقبل أي لاعب يبدأ من بطولة تحت 20 عامًا”.

المجموعة الأولى: مصر – موزمبيق – السنغال – نيجيريا.

المجموعة الثانية: أوغندا – إفريقيا الوسطي – جنوب السودان – الكونغو.

وبعد انتهاء مراسم القرعة، قال شوقي غريب: المجموعة مصر هي الأصعب، ثم الثالثة، والثانية أقل صعوبة.

نظام البطولة، من المقرر أن يتأهل أول وثاني وأفضل فريقين في المركز الثالث من دور المجموعات إلي دور ربع النهائي (دور الـ8).
